For those of you who've known me for a few years you'll remember my previous blog from around 3 years ago, "The Daily Noodle", well this is kind of the revival of that. You could say the irrational tantrum-induced teenager has since grown up... A little! Ha ha! (I've removed all the old Noodle posts, for dignity's sake.) This blog will (hopefully) be more interesting, diverse and rational with less of the old foul-mouthed rants which were largely the product of a frustratingly boring and demeaning day job at the time since many of the entries then were composed during working hours as a means to break the monotony; instead you'll enjoy more interesting, entertaining, funny and useful reads with no doubt a few of my legendary "facepalm" moments along the way.
I'll also openly say that in the last 2 or so years I've realised, through some thorough research, that my erratic ways are mostly attributed to adult ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), which I never realised was something I've probably had all my life. In other words, I'm slightly mad and often unpredictable, and constantly prone to irrational outbursts and wild spontaneous ideas which suddenly lodge themselves in my pickled brain changing my general direction down another road of adventure. Such as the revival of this blog! Who knows how long it will last, since often these fantastic life-changing epiphanies don't last all that long. I do try to make it happen to the end, but then some other fantastic idea comes along and it's off in a new direction with the last one sucking dust!
One of those "phases" is another old revival (from around the time of the Daily Noodle ironically); an obsession with losing weight and getting fit! I've also quit smoking again (2 weeks ago today actually), and been entering trail runs and road races every weekend for the foreseeable future. I do believe this one will last much longer than the last and hopefully settle into a sustainable lifestyle of good health and fitness.
I've also recently discovered that my left leg is shorter than my right. True story! I run like a duck.
I've also decided this Saturday it's time to begin building a herb garden in my back yard. This of course if the wife allows me some time to do so in between my other husbandly duties (no not that you perverts!) Soon you'll be reading about my mouth-watering recipes made with fresh herbs, chillies and veggies from my own garden.

So do visit again regularly, I guarantee you a journey of entertaining literature and many great laughs! And stuff about drumming!
For now, I need to earn my wages.
Oh, and for old times sake - my lunch today (pardon the poor quality phone pic!) Salad, like most days, featuring rabbit food, cucumber, tomatoes, mixed seeds, avo, feta, home made croutons and shredded chicken. Delicious!
~The End~
